Imagining Winter

Despite the bleakness that winter can sometimes exude, there are so many things to love about this coldest season of the year. Snowflakes, being with the family by the fireplace, easing into the sofa to cozy up with a loved one — these are just some of the reasons why there are people who are endeared to winter.

But wait a second. I can’t be writing about something I haven’t experienced, right? Well, that’s the power of the imagination. I guess this is my way of sharing with you the love I’ve discovered for writing. And it’s one way of proving that it’s never too late to pursue one’s passion that may have been latent in years past which, just like a dormant volcano, has just been waiting to breach the surface of the earth through a magnificent, blinding, deafening eruption.
